The process
Mobilized a comprehensive project management team, including a Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, Construction Manager, Planner, Administrator, Procurement and Logistic Manager, Quality Manager, and HSE team. Additionally, complete supervision teams were deployed, consisting of various trade superintendents, supervisors, foremen, leading hands, skilled workers, and laborers.
This mobilization supported the construction of the Urban Road project in Conakry, which aimed to complete 10 kilometers of asphalt concrete roads. The project also included the construction of covered drain square channels on both sides, T2+CS2 type curbs, and walkways.
The team employed a diverse fleet of earthworks equipment, including excavators (models DX300LCA, ZX350LCH, and CAT330), road graders, crane trucks, car mixers, dump trucks, road roller compactors, and water trucks.
In addition, another set of teams was dedicated to operating mobile asphalt plants, asphalt pavers, asphalt emulsion sprayers, pneumatic tired rollers, and tandem roller compactors for road paving construction.
Building Conakry's future
These roads form part of the fundamental infrastructure of the growing and rapidly developing capital of our nation.
